This process is very crucial and therefore Global Visas has created a brief outline / provided file paths below on how to password protect the two most common immigration document types (Microsoft Word and PDF). If you wish to discuss a different document type, please do not hesitate to contact our team. You must thereafter work with your visa specialist to securely share the password.

Although our team and Dropbox inc. provides the utmost levels of security and data protection – we fundamentally believe given the sensitive nature of immigration documents, all security measures where available should be taken.

WHERE AN APPLICANT HAS FAILED TO PASSWORD PROTECT A SENSITIVE DOCUMENT – OUR TEAM WILL PERMANENTLY DELETE THIS FROM YOUR DROPBOX SPACE, AND RE-UPLOAD WITH A PASSWORD. THE PASSWORD WILL THEN BE SHARED WITH YOU SECURELY.

HOW DOES DRAG N' DROP WORK?

The process of DRAG N’ DROP is very simple in terms of what it offers. An encrypted Dropbox Inc. file request weblink, created individually for each applicant. As a deep concern in the world of technology and information security; the issue of sharing documents via email has long dominated the immigration industry and other sectors. DRAG N’ DROP is also addressing this concern at the same time.

REVIEW REQUIREMENTS AND COMPLETE REQUEST FORM

Please access the Global Visas homepage and obtain your relevant visa instructions. If a visa is required, proceed to the visa request form and complete payment. You will receive an initial order confirmation email with your submitted data.

AWAIT GLOBAL VISAS DRAG N’ DROP EMAIL (SUPPORTED BY DROPBOX INC.)

A second additional email will be sent to you from our team within 1 – 2 business hours of receiving your completed visa request form. This email will contain a customized and individual Dropbox Inc. file request weblink.

UPLOAD SCANS OF ALL DOCUMENTS TO CUSTOM DROPBOX INC. WEBLINK

After accessing the Dropbox Inc. file request weblink, you will be able upload clear color scans of all supporting documentation. Dropbox accepts all common file types and has an upload size limit of 20GB. The weblink can be accessed multiple times but has a one month expiry date (for security purposes – see below for further information). You will also be requested to input your name and email address; upon completion you will receive a confirmation email from Dropbox Inc. outlining your uploaded documentation.

GLOBAL VISAS WILL REVIEW ALL SCANS AND CONFIRM ANY AMENDS (IF REQUIRED)

After you have uploaded all documentation for review, our team will receive a notification in our mailbox confirming the same. Your designated visa agent will then review and revert back to you with final confirmation or indicate if any amendments are required. Accordingly and/or thereafter you will receive approval to send all original documents to our offices for visa processing and Embassy submission (NOT APPLICABLE to E-Visa or REVIEW ONLY applicants, where for the latter a third party cannot act as a filing agent / your physical appearance is required).

Upon completion of the service, all copies of supporting documentation will be deleted permanently from Global Visas Dropbox account. Drag N’ Drop is not designed for the purpose of being a data centre, but purely a service which allows for an encrypted document review service. TIME LIMITED FILE REQUESTS

All Dropbox Inc. file request weblinks have a one month expiry date from date of creation. Global Visas has chosen to implement this additional security measure to ensure no request is kept open for an infinite period. Should the one month date become very close or pass and you are yet to complete the review process – please simply request your visa agent to extend the expiry date or send a new Dropbox Inc. file request weblink.

INCREASED FILE UPLOAD SIZE LIMITS (UP TO 20GB)

Again as mentioned above, each file request upload has a size limit of 20GB and furthermore, a user may access the weblink multiple times to add additional documents. This categorically and by some margin, beats all current forms of document upload for size limits.
